How do I make a request to address Council as a delegation?
All delegations requesting permission to appear before Council or the Policies and Priorities Committee are required to submit a request to the Corporate Services Department outlining the topic and/or concern. The request can either be a copy of the Delegation Form or a separate letter that you have written outlining the topic of concern.
Requests to appear before Council shall be received no later than 12:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the Meeting, along with a copy of your presentation and supporting documentation, if applicable. If bringing handouts, please provide a copy to the recording secretary prior to the meeting.

How often does Council meet?
Council has four scheduled meetings a month. The meetings are held the first and third Mondays of the month at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and are open to the public.

How do I apply for a fee waiver for the Community Centre rooms and equipment?
Applications are available at the Front Desk of the Community Centre. Applications are to be filled out and returned to the Director of Community Services. The application will be reviewed and the group requesting the waiver will be notified in writing.
How do I access the Weight Room?
The weight room can be accessed through the front desk by paying a drop-in fee or patrons may purchase a reader proximity card and add either 10 or 30 drop-in fees or 1, 3, 6 and 12-month periods to the cards. The reader proximity card gives access to the gym outside of the front desk operating hours.
