The Protective Services department is responsible for Fire Rescue, Bylaw Enforcement including Animal Control, Emergency Management, and Emergency Support Services.
Tumbler Ridge dedicates much time and effort to protect the community. Our Fire Department is well-equipped and trained to respond to a variety of situations. Community policing is conducted by a locally staffed RCMP detachment and Bylaw Enforcement is carried out by our full time Bylaw Enforcement Officer.
