Northeast BC Community Foundation
The Northeast BC Community Foundation is looking for community voices in Tumbler Ridge to join the Tumbler Ridge Community Resiliency Fund Community Advisory Committee.
This is a chance to be part of shaping how funding supports community recovery, well-being, and long-term resilience.
We’re looking for a range of perspectives—community members, youth, professionals, and local leaders. You don’t need previous experience—just a desire to support your community.
What you’ll do:
- Help identify community needs
- Review funding applications
- Provide recommendations to guide funding decisions

Donate Financially
Financial donations allow organizations to respond quickly to immediate needs while also supporting longer-term community recovery.
Below are three trusted options for those wishing to contribute:
Tumbler Ridge Community Resiliency Fund (Northeast BC Community Foundation)
To ensure that contributions are stewarded responsibly and remain available to support the community’s needs over the months and years ahead, the District of Tumbler Ridge is working with the Northeast BC Community Foundation to administer the Tumbler Ridge Community Resiliency Fund.
The fund will be community-guided to meet evolving priorities as needs change over time. As a registered charitable foundation, the Northeast BC Community Foundation provides the governance, fiduciary oversight, and charitable receipting required to manage donations transparently and in accordance with regulatory requirements. All donations of $20 or more receive a charitable tax receipt.

Tumbler Ridge Parent Advisory Council (PAC)
Support for Tumbler Ridge Schools
Donations are also being accepted through the Tumbler Ridge PAC to support both Tumbler Ridge schools. If donors wish to support a specific school, they may write "TRE" or "TRSS" in the memo line. Otherwise, donations will be used across both schools as needs arise.

Canadian Red Cross
The Canadian Red Cross is also working to support those impacted by the tragedy. Money raised will be used to support those affected by the devastating events, helping to meet immediate needs and address the impacts on individuals, families, and communities.
